About Pleasant Valley MTB Trail

Pleasant Valley MTB Trail is about 4.5 miles of mostly singletrack trail through the beautiful scenery of Pleasant Valley Nature Park. Within the 4.5 miles, there are three loops. The Beginner Loop is a combination of open and curvy riding along the woods. The Intermediate Loop is narrow and technical with tight turns, rocks and roots. This loop also has a ΒΌ mile option of open riding through the prairie which provides a great view of the valley.  The Advanced Loop winds its way through the glacially kettled part of the park. This results in faster speeds, climbs and descents, bridge and boardwalks over a natural spring runoff and a bog. In addition, next to the public structure and picnic tables is a 250 foot kids/warmup loop and series of lumber built features to work on developing skills.

Note, during summer months, several NICA club teams run practice Tuesday - Thursday evenings. Typically, about 80 kids are using the trails at this time.
